What is SinFlip? What is this seemingly meaningless name with a slightly bizarre ‘S’ with horns for a logo? Why does the big world wide web require yet another website with more content? What could this site possibly offer that isn’t already available somewhere else?

This Is A Website For Modern Musicians
SinFlip was put together in September 2008 by John O’Nolan, a relatively unknown but very passionate musician, graphic designer, website developer, and internet entrepreneur. The name unfortunately, does not reflect a deep and meaningful insight into the nature of the music industry, nor does it provide a great metaphor for things to come. It is simply a combination of the words Sin - ‘to offend against a principle, standard’ as music so frequently does, and flip - ‘to resell, esp. quickly’ . Think of it as reselling your sins, as quickly as possible, that’s what SinFlip is here to help you do.

This Is A Publication
This site is a magazine (of sorts) bringing you honest news and reviews from many corners of the music industry, without major (or any) financial backing from record labels that so often sway the opinions of printed magazines and newspapers.
